Therapy & Counselling in Chamonix

Chamonix therapist, here to talk with you during challenging times

Are you experiencing painful or confusing feelings? Are you in a difficult situation or stuck with a persistent issue?

I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, fertility issues or loss, helping you understand the patterns shaping your experience and build a more grounded, connected life.

My approach draws on relational Transactional Analysis psychotherapy, and I work in both English and French. I offer a confidential space where you can feel fully understood.

Based in Les Houches and working online across France, I offer english-speaking therapy and couples counselling in the Chamonix valley.

Fleur Therapy and Counselling in Chamonix

I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapeutic counsellor, trained at the Metanoia Institute in London in relational Transactional Analysis - that works with the patterns formed in early life that shape how we feel, relate, and respond in the present. I don't simply help you manage symptoms, I work with you to understand where they come from.

The space I offer is warm, confidential, and unhurried. You are invited to bring your whole self, your struggles, your hopes, and the questions you haven't yet found words for. We then begin the slower work of looking inward, and what unfolds from that is different for everyone. The intention however is consistent: deeper understanding of yourself, and from that, more genuine choice in how you live and relate.

My work is also informed by current research in neuroscience and neuroplasticity - the brain's capacity to form new patterns throughout life. This shapes how I work at a deeper, often unconscious level, supporting the kind of change that lasts rather than the kind that has to be constantly maintained. I also work with critical incident and trauma response, accompanying people in the aftermath of acute events as well as those carrying the weight of cumulative trauma over many years.

With couples, I draw on Imago Relationship Therapy alongside my Transactional Analysis training. Imago understands that the patterns playing out between partners are rarely only about the present, but often carry echoes of much earlier relational experience. My work with couples is about helping you hear each other more truly, recognise what each of you is really asking for, and find ways of being together that feel less reactive and more connected.

Alongside my clinical training, I bring more than twenty-five years of professional experience working closely with people - listening carefully, making sense of complexity, and staying with difficulty when it arises. I am also a qualified executive coach, accredited with the International Coaching Federation.

I can provide therapy for:

01.

Anxiety can become overwhelming, gradually shrinking our world as we avoid situations that can trigger panic or stress.

02.

More than just sadness, depression can lead us to lose interest in activities we once enjoyed, impacting our quality of life.

03.

Difficult emotions, thoughts, and behaviours can negatively impact

romantic, professional or family  relationships.

04.

If you've been looking for PTSD therapy near you, I can offer specialist support using a relational, trauma-informed approach
