About me
Therapist & Psychopraticienne in Les Houches, providing English & French Counselling in the Chamonix Valley
Fleur Jaworski-Richards | Psychopraticienne | Psychotherapeutic Counsellor | Les Houches, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc
I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapeutic counsellor trained in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. Transactional Analysis is based on the theory that our childhood development and resulting communication style may create repeated patterns of behaviour that negatively affect our lives and relationships. I work relationally, which means I don't simply help you manage symptoms, I work with you to understand where they come from. Drawing on Transactional Analysis, attachment theory, and neuroscientific research into how the brain changes through relationship, my approach is grounded in clinical rigour and genuine human warmth.
I also work with clients to establish clear goals and desired outcomes, fostering an open and honest relationship to safely explore and gain insights into their issues and patterns. My goal is to help clients increase their self-awareness, identifying emotions and triggers, whilst challenging limiting beliefs. I facilitate the process for behavioural change, helping clients to recognise their strengths and build resilience, encouraging self-compassion and autonomy. I offer a space to reflect on the integration of new insights, regularly assessing and reviewing progress towards their goals. Sessions are held in a calm, confidential space in Les Houches, in the Chamonix valley, or online, for clients across France and internationally.

My approach & training
I am a certified psychotherapeutic counsellor and psychopraticienne, whilst also completing an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute, London, one of the UK's leading UKCP-accredited psychotherapy training institutions.
I am registered with the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy), the IARTA (International Association for Relational Transactional Analysis), and the IFAT (Institut Français d'Analyse Transactionnelle), and I hold an ICF ACC coaching accreditation.

Transactional Analysis is a well-evidenced relational approach that explores how our early experiences, relationships, and internal patterns continue to shape how we feel and behave today. It is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in the belief that people have the capacity to change.

My practice also draws on:
-
Attachment theory and relational neuroscience
-
Right-brain to right-brain communication
-
The intersection of embodied experience and lived narrative
